14 Nov, 2020, 5 pm – Online concert with Zulya and The Children of the Underground quartet (Anthony Schulz, Andrew Tanner and Lucas Michailidis).
18 June, 2020 – first lockdown version of HAIL (Human and Artificial Intelligence Laboratories) a participatory inter-disciplinary performance with Mal Webb, Ria Soemardjo, Kylie Morrigan, Dan Witton, Jeremiah Rose, Nick Wies (directors Zulya Kamalova and Maude Davey, OAM) took place in Melbourne.

23 December, 2019 – Zulya presented Six Days Loving / Алты көн ярату at Kamal Theatre (pictures) in Kazan with Michiel Hollanders, Marat Taturas, Gennady Lavrentiev and special guests Yoldyz Minnullina, Saida Mukhametzyanova, Oskar Yunusov.
April 29, 2019 – Zulya released Six Days Loving / Алты көн ярату written to the poetry of Tatar poet Yolduz Minnullina, produced by Michiel Hollanders.
Aug 27-30, 2017 – Zulya and The Children of the Underground performed at Sharq Taronalari, an international music festival in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This was made possible with the support of the Australian Embassy in Moscow and Creative Victoria Quick Response Grants.
3-24 Sept 2016 – World premier of Snow White, for which Zulya wrote the music. This was a joint production of Opera Qld, La Boite Theatre and Brisbane festival, directed by Lindy Hume, libretto by Suzie Miller.
July, 2016 – great reviews for On Love and Science in The Australian (5 stars), Sydney Morning Herald, Music Trust, RootsWorld.
Dec 12, 2015 – Zulya and The Children of the Underground launched their album/book On Love and Science . This beautiful hardcover large format story book with art from Dilka Bear and a cd with the band’s new music can be ordered here! Book demonstration on YouTube.
30 Aug 2015 – New video from Kosmostan (Starship Z) is released!
Dec 2014 – Zulya’s new project Starship Z has released its debut album Kosmostan in Tatarstan. Created by Zulya in collaboration with OMFO it is available on Bandcamp . Also a remix by AtomTM. Reviews by Ton Maas and Bob Baker Fish. Watch video here.
Feb 2014 – Zulya presented her solo theatre show “Evolution, Revolution and the Mail Order Bride” (director Maude Davey) at fortyfivedownstairs in Melbourne.
